Magazine Writing

In this introductory magazine writing course students will learn to write the different types of magazine articles being published today for both online and print audiences and how to pitch and write stories for a host of publications.  Students will cover a beat and learn what makes a good story, how to research a piece, how to prepare for an interview, as well as organization, writing and editing techniques to use.
